Proposing on one knee.?
You should definitely get on one knee. I don’t think it matters which one, but it is very romantic. However you decide to do it, put some effort into it and make it special. My husband took me on a chartered sailboat that he had arranged months before. It was while we were on vacation at the beach with our family, and everyone knew about it. We went on the boat in the late afternoon, and the sun was starting to sink in the sky. It was just the 2 of us, the captain and his wife. About 20 min. into the trip, the captain invited us to go to the front of the boat (I think it’s the bow?) and we both sat down. I was looking out over the water, the way the sun was sparkling on the waves and said, “This couldn’t be any more perfect”. Well, that was his opening. He said, “No, it’s not perfect yet”, then he stood up, pulled me to my feet and then got on one knee.
