Prong Collar?

This might look like a torture device but it is actually a better alternative to a choke collar. It is otherwise known as a self-correcting collar. I think the name explains it all. This simulates (more naturally I think) the mother giving her pup a correction around the neck. It is a great tool for using to teach heel on those tough headstrong walkers. This also helps prevent injuries to the neck that some dogs suffer from the choke collar. (Over-corrections) The problem with this collar is that it can be a harsh method for most dogs. Some dogs need it like hairy breeds because this is the only collar they can feel.
