When removing the straw hood seal, insert your thumbnail between the seal near the valve and the yellow straw adapter (red on the Disney Baby model), grasp the seal between your thumb and index finger, and pull it towards yourself as if to spread it. (Take care not to break a nail.) When attaching the seal, align the grooves in the straw hood seal with the grooves on the straw adapter and press them firmly together. Note that the surface of the seal with the indentation in it should face down.
