Pressing the command key just brings up a dialog telling me to enable access for assistive devices, but not the KeyCue window. What is wrong?
This might mean that you do not have the option “Enable access for assistive devices” turned on. KeyCue requires this option to be enabled. Click the “Open Universal Access” button in the message window. This will open System Preferences for you and take you directly to the Universal Access page. Then make sure that the option “Enable access for assistive devices” is checked. From then on, KeyCue should work as expected.
