Answer Dear Chris: I’m very sorry for the lateness of this email, but when I answered your letter the first time, it wouldn’t go through. So hopefully, this will go through. I don’t think there is a list that I know of that has Far Away Eyes as a country song, but trust me, it is a countyr song. It has a great steel guitar part by Ron Wood. In fact, they have been expermentating with country music since “No Expectations” on the Beggar’s Banquet album when Keith Richards met with Gram Parsons who was witht THe Byrds at the time and before the creation of The Flying Burrito Brothers.
