Poulan Chain saw with primer bulb?
On my poulan, the gas line does not run to the primer bulb at all. The line runs from the tank to the carb. The bulb is built into the carb. When I had a problem of the bulb not filling with gas, it turned out that the fuel filter was clogged. The fuel filter is inside the gas tank at the end off the fuel line. To access the filter, the saws case must be partially opened to work to give enough slack in the fuel line to hang it out the gas cap. Then you can replace the filter.
