Generally no license is required when fishing in a private pond (private means totally enclosed with no major movement of fish in and out of the pond) with permission of the landowner. In ponds that charge a fee it’s required that either the landowner have a special fee pond license or that all individuals have state fishing licenses. Check with the operator of the pond.
