Pomeranians, are they harder to train to do tricks or even basic training?
Poms are actually very intelligent, and they are quite simple to train. What type of training are you looking into doing? I currently have a couple of Pom mixes, but have a good friend who shows purebred Poms. Both mine and hers are VERY smart, and love to have challenging things to do. One of mine is actually an agility champion. After your dog learns basic obedience, try doing other tricks that challenge the mind. Keeping them interested is key because they, like most dogs, can tend to get bored easily with too much of the same thing. Let me know if you have more questions or need tips on training.
