More than 2400 votes are in for the poll asking what you think the theme should be for January 2007’s Thyroid Awareness month. Were patients more concerned about the TSH normal range, or Synthroid, or their doctors? Find out now! A total of 19% of votes went to “We need better thyroid treatments and more thyroid research.” 18% of votes went to “Doctors need to be more knowledgeable about thyroid disease.” The issue: “Doctors and labs all need to get on the same TSH normal range for testing” received 16% of votes.
