POLL FOR ATHEIST FRIENDS: Do you find the following religions as “Favorable” or “Unfavorable”?
I don’t really like to sit in judgement of other people’s belief systems. Everyone is free to believe what they wish. I only take issue with those who harm others or themselves in the name of their religion, which is all of them to some extent. I don’t think any kind of mystical and pseudoscientific thought pattern helps humanity one bit. They have all damaged society in one way or another, and (supposedly) enhanced it in others. Frankly I think they just take the credit for societies achievements. I find them all unfavourable in some way, and interesting in others. The eastern religions are interesting in the way other cultures are exotic to me. I daresay I wouldn’t like to be a member of Islam, Evangelical Christianity or Hinduism, or to live near them. A.
