Police dog handler… what school subjects?
To join the police, minimum maths, english and preferably 2 other subjects, one science and one arts. It helps if you have life saving certificate (the higher the grade the better) plus a St. John’s or equivalent first aid certificate. A full car and motorcycle licence are also helpful. When you get in the Police you have to complete 2 years probation before you can even apply to be a dog handler. The chances of your getting the position will be down to sheer hard work on your part, competition is stiff and very few aspiring dog handlers make the grade.
