and sure enough, there were flecks of magenta floating around it it before long. I then rinsed the heck out of them with hot water again, dried them off, resaturated my sponges, and FINALLY everything worked again. From Noona: Today, after putting in new cartidges and getting no print out at all, I called the manufacturer and was told that I needed to clean the print head. Duh! They told me that I needed to do this at least once a month, or the print head gets clogged. I don’t believe I’d ever done it once. I had a cake to do by 3 pm so I had no time to run out and get another print head and it was so deeply clogged I would need a new one. The tech guy then told me to try sitting the print head in hot distilled water, without getting the computer chip wet. Well, I did that and voila! The print head became unclogged in a matter of minutes and I have color again and my printer is running like brand new!
