In 2009-10, NU will offer merit-based scholarships to top 15 % of enrolled BTech students of an amount equivalent to full or part of the University tuition fees. All full time registered PhD students would be required to offer half-time support in teaching/ research. In lieu of their services, they will be waived the University tuition fee (Rs 4,00,000/- pa). Further, every full-time registered PhD student would be paid a scholarship of Rs 20,000/- per month.
