Please help with dissenting information about sugar gliders, which one is true and which one isn ?
Perfect Pocket Pals are a breeding mill, not a breeder. They give the babies to people before they are weened and many of them end of sick and dead by the end of the first week in their first home. If you are going to get a suggie, DO NOT get your from them. Here is some general information, I’ve owned suggies for years.: REGARDING SMELL: I personally think they smell like a cross between orange peel ((and I never feed mine orange…)) and urine. But as long as you clean the cage everyday, this shouldn’t be a problem. The easiest solution is to clean out the bottom tray and wipe down the bars/toys with baby wipes. Clean and non toxic! Also, if you are getting a male(s) they will smell more than the females no matter what! The scent gland goes way down when they are fixed, but is still there a bit. You can also get a special suggie shampoo/conditioner, which my gliders let me use on them whenever I feel neccesary. You just have to be well bonded before trying to do that. REGARDING “AWFU
