From the info at the bottom of the page, no it will not. Your camera uses the Olympus flash system, and you need an Olympus compatible flash. Sigma does not make the 530 for Oly/Panny. To get that kind of power, without paying the way-too-high price for the Oly FL50 (the Panasonic is the same flash, different name) the best bet is the Metz 58. The Sigma SLR Talk forum on dpreview: http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/forum.… Any questions you have about your camera or its compatibility with accessories should be get a lot of great answers there. Since you are aware of dpreview, I wonder why you didn’t ask this at the Sigma forum instead of here? When I clicked on the compatibility with cameras near the top, this came up: http://www.sigma-photo.co.jp/english/fla… It appears that the G1 is not on that list. So go to the Sigma forum on dpreview and ask them what they recommend. Remember to tell them what kind of camera you have and what your budget is. What you want to use the flash for might also be helpful information.
