Having suffered from Polymyalgia Rheumatica, I know that chronic conditions are no fun. Try your local Council for Voluntary Service (CVS) as most support groups are run by charitable organisations. Your GP’s surgery may have some contact details of self help groups. Good luck.

Hi Derk As a CFS/ME sufferer myself I can relate to what you are going through. I have had CFS for many years and will tell you there is no ‘quick fix’ to our problem. There are also far too many people who tease you when you say that you are ‘too tired’ to do everyday normal things. They don’t understand. It affects your daily life. We call it the ‘invisible illness’. This condition is about constantly being physically and mentally exhausted 24/7, and all the other endless list of symptoms that go with it. Please can I direct you to a wonderful and supportive site which is directed for people who suffer CFS/ME. This site is helping me to cope with my problems and has a great source of information for sufferers. here is the link >>>http://www.chronicfatiguesyndrome.me.
