Check that the wireless router is not filtering MAC addresses. I believe that 2Wire modems do by default. Visit your router’s configuration page (if you’re unsure how to get to it, open up your network settings on a PC that works, and look for the default gateway, type that number into an Internet browser). Once you’re in, go to Home Network, then to Wireless Settings. Enter the password if your modem is protected. Click “EDIT MAC FILTERING” and ensure that ENABLE is unchecked. Reboot the router, and disconnect/reconnect your iPod. You should be able to connect.
