Each Globalstar call is composed of satellite airtime and long distance (ground) connection tolls. The are no handset to handset calls without going through a ground connection. Case 1- If someone calls you, the caller will pay the long-distance (ground) connection to the appropriate Globalstar Gateway station. You will always pay for the satellite airtime. Note the gateway station will vary as you travel from gateway to gateway.
