Smooth surface straps generally have better break strength as compared to embossed surface strength of the same size. However embossed surface straps have the following advantages too. Quicker Heat sealing. Better Splitting properties as compared to smooth surfaced straps. Better Grip with smooth metal seals. Better feeding through Semi and Fully Automatic strapping machines.
