Yes, it’s possible, but Vienna isn’t on the direct way. Primarily you should pass the chanel and go through Belgium to Germany (Munich). Than you cross Austria to Zagreb (Croatia), continue across Serbia (Belgrade) and over Sofia (Bulgaria) to Istanbul. From Munich you usually need about 2 days to Istanbul. Making a deviation to Vienna, you will loose minimum one day and you still would not have enough time to spent in Vienna. Only One day… you will apologize! Your deviation may by from Munich to Vienna or alternatively vie Frankfurt, Nurnberg and Linz to Vienna.
