Some solvents that may be used as a lubricant can dissolve the Planestick. This may be usefull if you want to remove excess burn in stick from the finished surface, but can ruin a level burn in. The solvent that is most active in breaking down the burn in is toluene. Other blends of solvents, like Mohawk Wax Wash will also dissolve the Plane stick. The best lubricant to use is Mohawk Wool Wax, as it’s user friendly to the Plane stick, and it wipes off easily.
