Placement and AP credit Q. How will my placement in the appropriate Spanish course be determined?
A. The Spanish department uses a placement test which you can access from the department webage. We use the results of that test, in conjunction with the number of years you have studied the language and the level you have completed in order to place you in a course. When you take the placement test, you will be asked to indicate this information, as well as whether you havespent time in a Spanish-speaking environment. If you have questions about your placement, please contact Prof. Alice J. Poust, Spanish Department Chairperson.
