Pine Creek Log Homes are virtually maintenance free. What does that mean?
The exterior logs are treated with a stain/UV guard/preservative, prior to leaving the plant. The only maintenance recommended is that the exterior logs be re-treated with a clear coat of the UV/guard/preservative as needed. This product is water based, non-toxic product that can be brushed or sprayed on over the entire exterior including the chinking. This clear product will not change the original color of your home. It is easy to apply and inexpensive. Another factor that reduces maintenance is the large overhangs and roof extensions that are part of our standard construction. Our standard roof extension is 4 feet, as per plan. Pine Creek Log Homes allow flexibility for the interior finish.
