Pickens Wants to Use Natural Gas to Fuel Cars. Does Pickens Forget that Gas Comes from Drilling for Oil?
Pickens is in it for money. Natural gas is not a good alternative to gasoline or it would already be being used more widely. You still have to drill and you have to refine and transport. It will power your car. It will also add weight and decrease the drive distance between refills. Here in the fly over country a lot of good ol’ boys run propane or natural gas but the tank takes up a good portion of the bed. He stands to gain no profit if we use nuclear energy which would allow us to convert to electric and electric hybrids.
