Photoscape 3D runs fine but when I jump to a distant location the program crashes. Why?

This was reported by a user once he updated from Photoscape 3D version 1 to version 2 on a PC with Intel 915 graphics. The exact reason for the problem is unknown but the good news is that changing the background services setting as per the previous question resolved the problem.
