In Continuous Tracking mode, location data is sent from your phone to the iLocBuddy data centre, from where it is made available to your phone, other phones, and iLocBuddy Web sites. In Phone Finder mode, your phone communicates directly with another phone via SMS. Therefore, in case of an Internet outage, Phone Finder mode would still work while Continuous Tracking mode would not.
