Philips Luminaires introduced dynamic Lighting in 2003 with a reference to the daylight changes outdoor: changing the colour temperature and light levels of the lighting during the day supports the human rhythms. The Philips ActiViva lamp allows to expand the colour temperature range of Dynamic Lighting to 8000 or 17000K. On top of this, the ActiViva lamp can also be used to create locally an energising environment, when the lamp is retrofitted into existing fixtures.
