Performance is important, but what about ride quality?
As with most performance modifications you have to understand and accept the “give and take”. You drive your car every single day and, unless you’re made of cash, will have to live with your decision for a while. Installing a larger rim with a low profile tire will increase your steering response and road feel, but it can get excessive the lower you go. The sidewall acts as a “cushion” absorbing some of the bumps in the road along with your suspension. Keep this in mind when making your selection to avoid regretting your decision.
