The new face of India are Dhoni’s men!! The companies know this and they will try and exploit this by getting new young players for their advertisements. This will appeal to India much more. Tendulkar has been endorsing products for around 20 years and the companies feel that its time for a change. Tendulkar is a icon of India and this shouldn’t happen to him!! But Tendulkar has made more than plenty money of endorsements so we shouldn’t really feel sorry for him. Even if he retires now, he will have more that enough money for his grandchildren and their grandchildren!!! He is a great player and should be playing at the 2011 WC. I mean look at Jayasuriya. He’s making runs when he’s 39!! So I am sure that Tendulkar will be there at the WC. But what i think is that Tendulkar will retire right after the WC.

The contract is over and they are not renewing it . The concern of Pepsi could be injuries. For your info sachin is the brand ambassador from the 90’s and it is a record time. They just want to move on with young ones and this is the marketing trend of almost every company in the world.
