People just ask questions to get points, not for pure knowledge, who agrees with me?
I admit… it is great to receive points for all of your contributions, not just questions but also answers. How else are we going to continue to climb the AB ladder? Points should not be the driving factor for people’s activity on the site though. Points are just a bonus. The knowledge you receive should be of higher value. I don’t agree that all AB users just ask questions to receive points. Maybe some do, but you can usually tell by the types of questions they ask. I enjoy getting to know about people, their lives and their pasts. I also enjoy testing peoples’ sense of humors. I’ve learned a lot about so many of my AB pals through the questions I ask and the answers they submit. I’ve even learned a lot about myself. I’m here for knowledge, to socialize with interesting people, and to make friends along the way.
