Please note that the following fix would require you to disable System Restore and lose ALL previous restore points. System Restore is used to undo harmful changes to your computer and restore it to a previously stable state (the restore point) without causing you to lose recent work. Disable System Restore. Run virus scan or spyware scan and remove the virus or spyware. Re-enable System Restore and set a restore point. Please note that System Restore is part of Windows ME and Windows XP, and but not part of PCguard. If you require further help with System Restore, it is advisable to refer to the Help section of Windows or check with your PC vendor, as this is not something that Virgin Media can support.
