Audio difficulties in conference calls are often be caused by a Participant who has an “open microphone.” To correct this audio problem, ask your Participants to mute their phone (by pressing *4 on their phone keypad) until the echo stops; or invoke the mute function on the device. After you have identified which Participant has the open microphone, you can have all other Participants unmute their phones (by again pressing *4 on their keypad) and continue with your conference.
