The report card grade is much more than an average of test scores. Also included are: daily teacher observations for classwork, participation, and attention; homework; quizzes, projects, and effort. Effort includes: homework completed, all materials for class are in class, preparation and reading hasbeen done (as seen by participation), relevant comments and questions that show the student is engaged and focused on the class.
