Parabens Screen Capture connects periodically to the Internet…What info does it send?
Paraben’s Screen Capture does not send any information from the user’s machine to the Internet. It only reads a text file from Paraben’s web site, by default once every 7 days, to tell you if there is a new version of this program. You can change the frequency or disable this check under “Help/Check for a New Version” menu. Your system may have an old version of Microsoft “Common Controls” DLL (comctl32.dll).
