No, acknowledgements of receipts are not sent to potential users. However, registrants may check on the status of a pending registration form or the receipt of a registration form by contacting us toll-free at 1-866- 927-2533, commercially at (202) 927-8140 or by emailing us at alfd@ttb.gov. When we have completed processing a COLAs Online Access Request form, which takes approximately 30 days from receipt, we do send the new user an email that contains the user ID with a request to call us. As a required security measure, we convey the initial password separately by telephone.
