Ovulation and ovulation predictor kit question?
Your timing is perfect! Some doctors suggest BD every day, others say every other day. It depends on sperm count and other factors. I think you covered your fertile days. With your test, did you have a line darker than the control line? The second line will appear when you are getting closer, but will be as dark as or darker 1-2 days before you ovulate. At this time I would not worry that you are not ovulating, you are well within the accepted range for ttc. Considering this is your first month with OPK it may be all the help you need. Try to listen to your body signals (read Taking Charge of Your Fertility for great pointers) you may get sore boobs, cramps on 1 side, egg white cervical mucus, there are many ways to tell ovulation. I use the kits so I can BD before I ovulate, but I can almost always tell by my body signals if I do ovulate. Try not to panic, enjoy your practice time and if you have not conceived within 1 year of TTC make an appointment with your OBGYN. Good luck!
