Overbite and Veneers: Can a patient get veneers for front upper and lower teeth if they have an overbite?

When I put my back teeth together my lower front teeth touch the roof of my mouth. Nonetheless, I can comfortably bring my jaw forward and touch my bottom and top teeth together so that it doesn’t look as bad. I also have alot of crowding causing my two front teeth to buck out even more. This problem has held me back my entire life. To be honest I hate myself and always have because of it. I was told I would have to get my jaw broken. I DO NOT want to do this. I sing and was told it would change the sound of my voice. Plus, I can’t afford that much work. Is there anything that can be done at least to look better without breaking my jaw
