Our W-Class printer prints one label and skips a label consistently. What is the problem?
You need to find out if the printer is the culprit or if it’s a formatting issue. Simply press the Feed button once. If the printer feeds one label and stops, the problem most likely is the Software. Check the print registration on the label. If the print stops too close to the trailing edge or goes into the gap, this causes the printer to feed the remainder of the blank label. The solution is to move the print down toward the leading edge of the label. It is preferable this be done using the Software program. The printer can also be configured to move the print using the Print Control/Custom/Adjustments/Row Adjustments menu function. A “minus” value moves the print down and a “positive” value moves the print up.
