Our site uses a firewall – how do we connect to CrossFire?

It is possible to connect to the CrossFire server through a firewall (proxy server) if the firewall supports SOCKS (versions 4 or 5) communication. In order to set parameters, select Options – Connections (if you have Commander 6) or Options – Define Server Profiles (Commander 7) then select a profile (usually default.prf) and click on Edit to bring up the Server profile dialog box. Under Communication click on the Firewall parameters button.
