Our Safety Hinged Door Lock is no longer necessary. How do I remove the lock plate from the door?
Slide a utility knife blade or similar object between the plate and the surface of the furniture and slowly peel the plate back. Some surface materials may be damaged when the plate is removed. To prevent this, use extreme care when peeling the plate back. Use fabric tape or plastic tape to remove any excess adhesive remaining after the plate is removed. Scrub off any residue using a sponge soaked in a neutral cleanser diluted with water.
