The focus of CBIG is public health and health services research, not clinical research. The definitions for public health research and health services research to be used for the CBIG Program are included in the CBIG Information Kit. Each applicant will need to consider whether the research focus of their organisation is primarily public health and/or health services research (as opposed to clinical research) according to these definitions, and then show evidence that they fit the CBIG eligibility criteria.
