Our office is developing a new brochure. How do we ensure that it is accessible to individuals with low vision?
When developing/designing the brochure, be sure to save it in a text-only version prior to converting it to any desktop publishing software format. Include a statement on the brochure, or any printed material, about Alternative Formats for receiving the information. Then, if you receive requests from individuals, obtain their font requirements and apply that font to the text-only version of your brochure. Please review the Procedure for Alternative Formats Requests.
