If there is no reservation after yours in the same accommodation the morning of your departure or if the residence has enough free rooms or apartments on this date, the owner usually accepts that you vacate the accommodation by 6 pm. From 5th to 20th of August, don’t hope that the owner will accept your request. If the owner agrees, he can possibly ask you to pay a supplement like 50 % of the price for one night.
