Our county received funding in 2009 from the YMCA of the USA “Pioneering Healthier Communities” program. Does that make us ineligible for the ACHIEVE funding opportunity?
Per Section D. Current ACHIEVE communities funded by any of the national partners such as the YMCA of the USA, NRPA, NACCHO, or NACDD and those communities funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Healthy Community program are not eligible to apply for this funding. This includes YMCA of the USA’s Pioneering Healthy Communities program.
