Our club/fishery used to be a member of ACA only. Why do we now have to join Angling Trust to be eligible to join Fish Legal at additional cost?
The agreement between Angling Trust and Fish Legal is intended to ensure that these two entities are bound together permanently as a single organisation in England. Angling Trust will offer significant new benefits to clubs, fisheries and riparian owners and will represent your interests at a national and international level. We need support from a large number of organisations to do this. In most cases we have found that the additional cost of joining Angling Trust has been covered by the heavily discounted and excellent insurance we can now offer as a result of this change. This means more money going into your angling organisations and less going to insurance companies, which can only be a good thing!
