A. We design all buildings to be earthquake resistant in accordance with the applicable Building Code for the particular location and jurisdiction. While we encourage all building owners to insure the buildings against damage by natural hazards, whether the building is insured or not, this factor does not influence our design methods and our detailing for construction.
