No, a tarp is not mandated with an artificial playing surface. When does the host guarantee have to be paid? Upon conclusion of the opening round tournament. When will the opening round hosts be confirmed? May 8th. For traveling teams in opening rounds, is an institution required to use Anthony Travel to be eligible for reimbursement? Yes. As an association policy by the Council of Presidents, reimbursement will not be available to institutions not using the NAIA travel service unless prior approval has been granted through the NAIA.
