Other than the bible, does anyone have a real source for the theory of creationism?
What a wonderful imponderable. Read to the end and I’ll make my point. First I need to establish a little background. Keep in mind this is a huge answer and I am reducing it into a few paragraphs. To examine the origins of the universe and all life on earth by some objective non-faith based source I will turn to known science and examine some of its most simple and basic concepts. I’ll first look at the most primary of two components of all known physical science– matter and energy. Matter and energy as we know cannot be created nor destroyed. That is to say that as far as any objective science can state all matter and energy present right now has been present from the beginning. To take a minute with this concept, please review any grade school science text or research the best of the brightest minds physics have produced. (I’ll wait.) Now this is really interesting to me. Subatomic science has been in the pursuit of actually identifying the smallest particle of all matter or energy.

THEIR answer is that there is none, they claim that both Creation and Evolution are systems of axioms for interpreting data. Basically they agree that the entire source of this axiomatic outlook is the Bible. The ENTIRE source, there is no reason to even look at the Creationist view of the history of life on earth unless you accept, not the Bible but THEIR VIEW of the Bible. They then go on to justify that with some VERY dodgy philosophy. In a nutshell they claim: 1. You cannot approach facts without preconceptions (true) 2. You must use a concept of God in order to be able to evaluate ANY proposition (not true – “is the sky blue” is answered the same way by the Atheist, the Christian, Muslim and Jew) 3.
