Training includes the areas of Dye-penetrant and MagnaFlux Testing, Eddy-Current Testing, Ultrasonic Testing and Radiography. NDT is the use of non-destructive means to find structural flaws in aircraft surfaces and other metal structures. Aircraft Modification is a non-FAA certificate of proficiency program. The information covered in these courses (Avionics Installation, cabinetry, upholstery, and sheet metal) prepares you for a position in an aircraft completion center. CATIA is a three dimensional computer aided drafting software used in aviation manufacturing. The Introduction to CATIA course is accepted as the computer credit for students pursuing the Associate of Applied Science degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology.
