The Thunder is owned by a gentleman named William Grimes. Mr. Grimes has over 27 years of football playing experience. He is a former two time Michigan All-State Football Player, two time NCAA All-American, twice named League MVP of the Japanese-American Football League. Mr. Grimes is a veteran of the United States Navy, Co-owner of Career Management Associates (CMA), a national Human Resources and Staffing Company with operations in 32 States and a workforce that is over 65% Minority and Women, Director of Sales for JFG International, a Woman Owned Training and Development Company, and a guest speaker for Women’s International, an organization dedicated to empowering woman in the workplace. Mr. Grimes has received multiple awards for empowering woman in the workplace and in 2004 was recognized by the US Government for his work with minorities and woman.
